I don’t normally post my book reviews but this one had me as giddy as when I first finished writing book 1 of the The Chronicles of Xannia.
If you haven’t had a chance to pick up Time’s Tempest yet, maybe the Red Headed Book Lover is just who you need to hear from 😉

Time’s Tempest is an incredible, unique and phenomenal novel courtesy of a remarkable author, M.J. Moores. When I discovered Time’s Tempest and read the words ‘embarking as a guide into the death zones that are the Deserts’ I knew instantly that I had to read the book as well as share it with you lovely readers because how rare is that! I was intrigued right away as to why the Deserts are death zones and what has happened to make it this way. The fact that I was intrigued and wanted to read the book from the description alone shows us, readers, that M.J. Moores is a phenomenal writer who knows how to hook you from her description and premise alone! Time’s Tempest is a thrilling story that is shocking as well as entertaining, and the story managed to captivate as well as delight me from the first few pages. Time’s Tempest can only be described as the kind of novel for those that are looking for an escape and to be taken on an adventure because Time’s Tempest will provide this with its thrilling story that is hard to forget!

Time’s Tempest was just awarded a B.R.A.G. Medallion for being a high-quality indie book ❤
When time is your enemy and the truth will only get you killed, who’s left to trust as the world threatens to crumble around you?
Embarking as a guide into the death zones that are the Deserts, Taya leads a group of civilians who blindly follow a prophet obsessed with preventing the planet Xannia from environmental self-destruction. Here, fate and destiny wage war propelling an epic search for truth amidst 2000 year old lies, in opposition to a government bent on burying ancient secrets and anyone who goes looking for them.
As Taya desperately attempts to keep the prophet and his followers alive, this journey forces her to grapple with the circumstances of her past which have aligned to hurdle her into her darkest memories; making choices she never wanted to consider; learning truths she was never meant to know.

I can’t thank all of my readers and supporters enough for helping the series grow 😀
COLES, A Division of Chapters/Indigo Bookstores, is now carrying my books 🙂
I stopped by my local book store today to buy a birthday present for my cousin’s son and pick up a little something for my hubby for our anniversary – no not a book 😛
It dawned on me, just as I was getting ready to cash out, that after all my waiting and numerous phone calls that I was now a “Local Author” in print, in the store! So, I hustled over to the Sci-Fi/Fantasy section (where my son soon found me) to get a picture of TIME’S TEMPEST and CADENCE of CONSEQUENCES for posterity’s sake. I tried a selfie and let’s just say I’m really glad the floor associate came by because these look so much better 😉
In case you haven’t yet heard (via facebook), Book 3 in The Chronicles of Xannia will be delayed from a late September Launch to a “Winter” Launch (though I’m not sure on what side of 2016/2017 that will actually be).
Thank you all so much for your support ❤
